Doula Services

From your first hello through your postpartum follow-up, your doula walks alongside you every step of the way — before, during, and after birth.

  • Initial introductory meeting at an agreed-upon location, free of charge, so we can get to know one another.

  • Two prenatal visits — the first focused on discussing your birth desires; the second to review your goals and practice comfort techniques and birthing positions together.

  • Assistance creating an individualized birth plan.

  • Continued communication during pregnancy via text or phone to answer your questions. (Response time within 24 hours, unless your doula is attending another birth — you'll be notified by text if so.)

  • Professional referrals and resources provided as needed.

  • 24/7 on-call availability starting two weeks before your estimated due date.

  • Uninterrupted support in your home, birth center, or hospital throughout labor and delivery.

  • Ongoing assistance for one to two hours after birth, including breastfeeding support.

  • One follow-up postpartum visit in your home with your doula.

Lactation

Lactation Services

We have certified lactation consultants on staff to support you before and after your baby arrives. Breastfeeding can bring up real anxiety and fear, especially in those first days — our consultants are here to walk beside you, answer your questions, and help ease that fear so you can feel confident and calm. Whether you're breastfeeding, pumping, combo-feeding, or formula-feeding, our support is for any family who wants informed, judgment-free guidance.

  • Prenatal Breastfeeding Education — learn what to expect and how to prepare before your baby arrives, so you go in feeling less anxious.

  • Postpartum Breastfeeding Support — hands-on help with latch, positioning, and troubleshooting once your baby is here, easing the fear of "doing it wrong."

  • Pumping Support — help with pump fit, building a stash, and transitioning back to work or school.

  • Common Challenges — support for low milk supply, engorgement, mastitis, and latch or tongue-tie concerns.

  • Dietary Support (as needed) — guidance on nutrition to help support a healthy milk supply.

Available in-home or virtually, whichever works best for your family.

Postpartum Services

The fourth trimester is just as important as pregnancy and birth — our postpartum support helps your family recover, bond, and adjust with care.

  • Emotional support and guidance.

  • Breastfeeding/bottle feeding support.

  • Newborn care support, including diapering, soothing techniques, first bath, sleep solutions, and baby-wearing.

  • Food preparation and light meals.

  • Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, etc.).

  • Accompaniment to appointments, support groups, etc.

  • Referrals as needed.

Childbirth Classes

Knowledge is power when it comes to your birth. Our childbirth education classes prepare you and your support person with the tools and confidence to navigate labor, delivery, and the early postpartum days.

Topics covered include:

  • Stages of labor and what to expect at each one.

  • Comfort measures and coping techniques for labor pain.

  • Breathing and relaxation techniques.

  • Creating your birth plan and advocating for your preferences.

  • The role of your partner or support person during labor.

  • Knowing when it's time to head to the hospital or birth center.

  • Pain management options, including medicated and unmedicated approaches.

  • Newborn basics to prepare for life after birth.
